Canara HSBC Life fast-tracks Assam flood claims

Beneficiaries need a completed form plus identification and banking details.

Canara HSBC Life Insurance has introduced a simplified and fast-track claims process for policyholders affected by the floods in Assam.

To speed up financial relief, the firm has reduced documentation requirements and prioritised the assessment and payment of eligible claims.

To process a claim, beneficiaries must submit a claim form alongside standard supporting documents.

Death verification can be provided through an official municipal death certificate, a government-published list of the deceased, or another recognised form of proof.

Claimants are also required to provide photo identification, proof of their relationship to the insured individual where necessary, and bank details such as a cancelled cheque, bank statement, or NEFT mandate to facilitate payment.

Policyholders and claimants can contact Canara HSBC Life Insurance directly through their customer service channels to begin the procedure.
