Guy Carpenter names Justin Ward Pacific CEO

Ward takes responsibility for regional broking operations and business strategy.

Marsh has appointed Justin Ward as CEO of Guy Carpenter Pacific, effective immediately.

Ward will report to Tony Gallagher, CEO of Guy Carpenter Asia-Pacific, and will relocate from Singapore to Sydney in July 2027.

He will lead Guy Carpenter’s broking operations in the Pacific and oversee its business strategy in the region. 

He will also work with Marsh’s regional leadership team, including James Sullivan, head of broking at Guy Carpenter Pacific.

Ward joined Guy Carpenter in 2018 and has held senior broking roles in Sydney and Singapore. 

He has served as capital advisory leader for Asia Pacific since 2024 and will continue in that role until July 2027.

Before joining Guy Carpenter, Ward held senior roles in reinsurance, financial planning and risk advisory at Insurance Australia Group, National Australia Bank and AMP.
