Manulife Philippines appoints Santos operations chief

She joins the executive committee effective 15 September 2026.

Manulife Philippines has appointed Erica Jurilla Santos as Chief Operations Officer, effective 15 September 2026.

Santos will join the Manulife Philippines Executive Committee and lead the insurer’s operations strategy, focusing on service quality, operational performance, digital adoption and customer-focused innovation.

Her role will support the company’s ongoing business transformation and efforts to improve experiences for customers and distribution partners.

Santos has more than 20 years of experience across insurance, contact centre and back-office operations, covering service delivery, workforce strategy, financial governance, vendor management, customer experience and operational transformation.

She joined Manulife Business Processing Services in 2022. 

Most recently, Santos led a 600-full-time-equivalent organisation supporting Manulife’s US insurance business across new business, policy administration, and life and health claims.
