Munich Re names two senior appointments to SEA life and health unit, digital solutions

Aravind Srinivas is the new life and health managing director.

Munich Re has announced two senior appointments in its Southeast Asia life and health business as well as its new digital solutions business effective 1 February.

Aravind Srinivas has been named managing director for life and health. He is based in Singapore and reports to Munich Re Asia Life and Health CEO David Hughes.

Prior to this, Aravind was the chief commercial officer for Munich Re’s Life, Health and High Net Worth business in the region, with responsibility for technical pricing, product development, business development and client management in various markets across Asia.

Tobias Frenz will now assume the role of digital solutions head for Life and Health, Asia Pacific, Middle East, and Africa. He will report to Daniel Cossette, CEO, Munich Re Life and Health, Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa.

As digital solutions head, Frenz is responsible for further developing the group’s digital solutions which span from reinsurance specific AI and predictive analytics solutions through to augmented automated underwriting and claims solutions.
