China Life and Tokio Marine reveal cross-marketing partnership

This is to help promote both their insurance products in the market.

China Life Insurance Co and Tokio Marine Newa Insurance Co, part of the Tokio Marine Group, have announced that they have formed a partnership to jointly promote and expand their market and insurance product offerings in Taiwan.

Under the partnership, Tokio Marine will help train China Life’s 15,000 sales agents, including helping them pass the licensure tests to be able to register as Tokio Marine’s sales agents. This will enable the agents to both sell China Life’s life insurance policies as well as Tokio Marine’s property insurance policies, including car, fire, and travel Insurance.

The partnership is beneficial for both. For Tokio Marine, it will increase the visibility of their products by adding 15,000 strong sales agents to their 300. For China Life, it will help them address the growing need for property insurance amongst their customers.
