PasarPolis pilots new one-stop-shop insurance app Tap Insure

The app was created in partnership with PT Zurich Asuransi Indonesia, Tbk.

Indonesian insurtech startup PasarPolis has launched Tap Insure, a B2C distribution channel for insurance.

Aiming to target end-customers, Tap Insurance allows users to buy embedded insurance products.

Currently, TAP Insure app offers two products: TAP Travel, a travel insurance product that covers financial risks that may occur during the trip due to travel delays/cancellations/interruptions, lost or damaged baggage, baggage delays, missed flight connections, and/or changes in travel plans, as well as COVID-19 protection. Premium for this cover starts at $1.60 (IDR25k), with a protection period starting from one day.

The second product is TAP Personal Accidents which includes insurance benefits that cover injury or death caused by an accident with a premium starting from $3.60 (IDR56.25k) with a protection period starting six months from the purchase.

PasarPolis said it plans to launch more products in the coming months that would include other insurance solutions involving home content, health, personal device, auto, and other insurance needs.
