Peilin led the Gerber Life organizational transformation through her strategic vision to modernize marketing, distribution, operations, contact center, and the technology stack. Peilin won the Novarica Impact Award for Data (judged by 60+ insurance CIOs), the AdExchanger Best First-Party Data Strategy By a Marketer Award, and the AdExchanger Best Technology (Finalist) Award for Gerber Life.
Peilin thrives on optimizing business performance through leading people and improving the world through gender parity. Evan Daniels is a nationally recognized leader on fintech and insurance law and policy. He represents clients across the country on regulatory matters and advises financial service and insurance companies on regulatory strategy and dealing with state and federal regulatory agencies in various contexts. In July 2020, Evan was appointed to lead the Arizona Department of Insurance & Financial Institutions, where he served as the state’s chief regulator for insurance, banks, credit unions, and various other financial services, including money transmitters, consumer lenders, and mortgage-related licensees. Prior to his appointment, Evan stood up Arizona’s first-in-the-nation regulatory sandbox program for fintech as part of the Arizona Attorney General’s Office.
As a former regulator, Evan has expertise in insurance and financial services licensing, compliance, and investigatory matters. He has deep experience in innovation policy and regulatory decision-making concerning technology, artificial intelligence, machine learning, digital assets, and insurtech. Having served as an assistant attorney general in Arizona, Evan understands how to effectively navigate UDAAP claims and investigations, working with all levels of government. He has represented the offices in which he has worked at the highest levels of government, including the White House, the Federal Reserve, the OCC, the CFTC, the Arizona Legislature, and as an active member of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners and Conference of State Banking Supervisors.

Chris Carlson serves as the Chief Operating Officer CRC and the Director of CRC Group’s Property Practice where he provides support and strategic direction for the company’s 700+ property brokers. Chris brings a unique blend of 20+ years of experience in Energy, Construction, and Global Property Insurance to the role as well as extensive knowledge of natural catastrophe portfolio management and underwriting.
Since launching his insurance career in 2004, Chris has taken on progressively more challenging leadership roles within the insurance industry, serving as a Global Property Underwriter with Zurich North America and Vice President with Liberty International Underwriters. In 2016, Chris joined Aspen Insurance as Senior Vice President of Energy & Construction before becoming Executive Vice President and Head of U.S. Property & Delegated Authority. In September 2021, Chris made the leap to Team CRC where he takes a servant leadership approach to supporting a team of talented brokers as well as outstanding retail and market partners. Chris truly enjoys collaborating with colleagues and partners across the industry to facilitate sustainable business development and protect people and businesses in the face of natural disasters. He’s also passionate about leveraging data and analytics to drive innovation and help move the industry forward as client needs evolve.
Chris earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Risk Management from the University of North Texas (UNT). He currently serves as a Member of the UNT Risk Management Advisory Board and the WSIA Talent Outreach Committee. Before joining Travelers in 2018, Lefebvre served as global Chief Information Officer for Liberty Mutual’s commercial business and held leadership positions across a variety of other industries, including medical device company bioMérieux and strategy consulting firm Bain.
She is one of Forbes’ CIO Next 50 Innovative Technology Leaders, a CIO Class of 2022 Hall of Fame inductee and a member of the National Diversity Council’s Top 50 Most Powerful Women in Technology. Evan Daniels is a nationally recognized leader on fintech and insurance law and policy. He represents clients across the country on regulatory matters and advises financial service and insurance companies on regulatory strategy and dealing with state and federal regulatory agencies in various contexts. In July 2020, Evan was appointed to lead the Arizona Department of Insurance & Financial Institutions, where he served as the state’s chief regulator for insurance, banks, credit unions, and various other financial services, including money transmitters, consumer lenders, and mortgage-related licensees. Prior to his appointment, Evan stood up Arizona’s first-in-the-nation regulatory sandbox program for fintech as part of the Arizona Attorney General’s Office.
As a former regulator, Evan has expertise in insurance and financial services licensing, compliance, and investigatory matters. He has deep experience in innovation policy and regulatory decision-making concerning technology, artificial intelligence, machine learning, digital assets, and insurtech. Having served as an assistant attorney general in Arizona, Evan understands how to effectively navigate UDAAP claims and investigations, working with all levels of government. Chris Carlson serves as the Chief Operating Officer CRC and the Director of CRC Group’s Property Practice where he provides support and strategic direction for the company’s 700+ property brokers. Chris brings a unique blend of 20+ years of experience in Energy, Construction, and Global Property Insurance to the role as well as extensive knowledge of natural catastrophe portfolio management and underwriting.
Since launching his insurance career in 2004, Chris has taken on progressively more challenging leadership roles within the insurance industry, serving as a Global Property Underwriter with Zurich North America and Vice President with Liberty International Underwriters. In 2016, Chris joined Aspen Insurance as Senior Vice President of Energy & Construction before becoming Executive Vice President and Head of U.S. Property & Delegated Authority. In September 2021, Chris made the leap to Team CRC where he takes a servant leadership approach to supporting a team of talented brokers as well as outstanding retail and market partners. Chris truly enjoys collaborating with colleagues and partners across the industry to facilitate sustainable business development and protect people and businesses in the face of natural disasters. He’s also passionate about leveraging data and analytics to drive innovation and help move the industry forward as client needs evolve.
Chris earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Risk Management from the University of North Texas (UNT).
