Insurance Asia Awards 2018 now open for nominations

The deadline for nominations is on 20 April 2018.

Asian Banking and Finance is proud to announce that the call for entries for Insurance Asia Awards 2018 is now open.

The Insurance Asia Awards is an initiative that aims to honour outstanding companies that are able to navigate their way around various market challenges while keeping clients satisfied and maintaining healthy revenues. Winners will be invited to attend the awarding ceremonies the Shangri-La Hotel, Singapore on July 2018.

The Insurance Asia Awards is split into two categories: Country Awards and Regional Awards.

The categories under the Country Awards are:

  • Domestic General Insurer of the Year
  • Domestic Life Insurer of the Year
  • International General Insurer of the Year
  • International Life Insurer of the Year
  • Direct Insurer of the Year
  • Claims Initiative of the Year
  • New Insurance Product of the Year
  • Digital Insurance Initiative of the Year
  • CSR Initiative of the Year
  • Marketing Initiative of the Year
  • Domestic Broker of the Year
  • Insurance Start-up of the Year

The Regional awards include:

  • Asian Reinsurer of the Year
  • Asian Credit insurer of the Year
  • International Broker of the Year
  • CEO of the Year

The inaugural Insurance Asia Awards held in July 2017 at the Shangri-La Hotel Singapore proved to be a success, with 26 insurance companies from around 15 countries. (To see the 2017 list of winners, click here. To view the 2017 awards dinner gallery, click here.)
