LIA lists new priorities for 2022 with a new management committee

New committee means new goals for the association.

The Life Insurance Association of Singapore (LIA) has outlined its priorities for 2022 at the same time it elected a new committee.

The LIA Management Committee re-elected Khor Hock Seng as President, and Dennis Tan as Deputy President. Wong Sze Keed was elected as Deputy President. Khoo Kah Siang and Raymond Ong were re-elected as Secretary and Treasurer respectively.

The management committee identified its priorities for 2022 namely, continuing the digitalisation efforts in the life insurance industry, developing multi-dimensional capacity in the ESG for green finance and sustainable investing and continuing with the workforce upskilling and transformation.

“The insurance sector is transforming on several fronts with increasing focus on sustainability and digitalisation. In 2022, we will continue to prioritise the development of the industry’s green initiatives and invest in programmes that will drive change in our workforce and enable them to stay ahead,” LIA president Khor Hock Seng said.
