Generali Asia appoints new CEO of Hong Kong business

He will also hold the position of general manager.

Generali Asia has appointed Davide Glavina as CEO of Generali Life (Hong Kong) Limited and General Manager of Assicurazioni Generali S.p.A., Hong Kong Branch.

Prior to joining Generali, Glavina worked for ten years in Investment Banking in London and Milan, in M&A advisory, Equity Capital Markets and Securitised Products.

He is a seasoned management executive with over 24 years of international experience in the insurance and financial services sector. Glavina is not new to dual roles. Previously, he was the Head of Finance of Generali International and was also the Area Manager for Spain in 2018.. Before that, he was the Chief Financial Officer of Generali Life and Generali Hong Kong Branch between 2015 and 2017. From 2007 to 2014, Davide was the Generali Group Head of Mergers & Acquisitions. 

The appointment of Glavina is subjected to regulatory approval.
