Sompo International taps Alasdair Walker as regional head for distribution insurance

He will oversee the distribution insurance segment in the APAC region.

Sompo International revealed the appointment of Alasdair Walker as the Regional Head of Distribution Insurance for the Asia Pacific (APAC) region. 

Walker will operate from Singapore and will directly report to Paul O’Neill, who holds the position of President of Commercial Lines, Insurance, APAC.

Walker comes to Sompo International from Allianz, where he occupied roles in London, Johannesburg, and most recently Singapore as the Regional Head of Distribution. In this role, he managed a team spanning across seven locations.
