Ashley Veasey gets Chief Information Technology Officer title at Prudential

He has lived and worked in various locations throughout the globe.

Prudential has appointed Ashley Veasey as Chief Information Technology Officer (CITO), effective from 18 September. 

Based in Hong Kong, Veasey will report to Solmaz Altin, Managing Director of the Strategic Business Group.

Veasey brings extensive experience in the financial services industry, with a track record of leadership in technology, digital, and innovation roles at major financial institutions such as Barclays, J.P. Morgan, Standard Chartered, and Citibank.

He has a global perspective, having lived and worked in various locations around the world, providing insights into Asian and African markets. Veasey 

has also served as an advisor to technology companies and fintech startups, and he was recently a member of Google Cloud's Advisory Board.

Solmaz Altin, Managing Director of the Strategic Business Group at Prudential, emphasised the importance of technology in Prudential's new strategy, stating that technology is a crucial function to drive value creation for stakeholders.
