Singlife introduces upgraded plans for policyholders with mild disability

The upgraded plans are measured by the customer’s ADL performance.

Singlife launched two new add-on benefits for its CareShield Standard and CareShield Plus plans which will provide customers with increased assurance and improved financial support from the onset of mild disability.

The Add-on Benefits are designed to increase financial assistance to policyholders when confronted with such disabilities.

Singlife CareShield Plus ensures a full monthly payout for up to 12 months if individuals are incapable of performing one out of six Activities of Daily Living (ADL) independently.

On the other hand, Singlife CareShield Standard guarantees a full monthly payout for up to 12 months if individuals are incapable of performing two out of six ADLs independently. These include bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, transferring, and continence.
