Zurich inks underwriting agreement with RentCover

Current RentCover policyholders will see their policies underwritten by Zurich upon renewal.

Zurich Financial Services Australia (Zurich) has inked a new agency agreement with Elkington Bishop Molineaux Insurance Brokers (EBM) to bolster its RentCover Landlords Insurance brand in Australia, effective from 1 December.

Under this collaboration, Zurich will underwrite the complete range of RentCover products, including insurance policies tailored for both long and short-term rentals.

This agreement builds on Zurich's existing partnership with EBM, where Zurich has been providing capacity for EBM's CoverLink portfolio since 2022.

Current RentCover policyholders will see their policies underwritten by Zurich upon renewal, while new customers will have their policies underwritten by Zurich starting 1 December. RentCover will continue to independently distribute its products and manage all claims.
