SEADRIF welcomes Ellen Yong as new CFO

SEADRIF Insurance Company has announced the appointment of Ellen Yong as its new Chief Operating and Financial Officer, effective immediately.

Yong brings a wealth of expertise in the insurance and reinsurance sector to her role at SEADRIF. 

Yong has worked with addressing catastrophe risk financing, aligning with her goal of enhancing community resilience in the face of climate shocks.

Yong has a comprehensive background encompassing pricing and portfolio analysis, reserving and capital modelling, underwriting policies, claims to handle policies, finance, insurance, and regulatory reporting.

Having previously held a leadership position at Fidelis Insurance in Bermuda, Yong focused on comprehending the global dynamics of natural catastrophes and their intricate relationship with climate change.

As Chief Operating and Financial Officer at SEADRIF Insurance Company, Yong will be spearheading the development of internal infrastructure and systems critical to supporting the company's strategic objectives. 

Her mandate includes upholding top standards in insurance management, financial and capital oversight, and governance spanning risk management, operations, regulatory compliance, and beyond.
