Miller expands Asian team, appoints Edward Cheak

He brings over a decade of experience.

Specialist (re)insurance broker, Miller, appointed Edward Cheak as head of Credit and Political Risk Insurance (CPRI) for Asia, effective 1 August. 

Cheak, based in Miller’s Singapore office, will work closely with Benjamin Gibbons, head of CPRI in London, to expand Miller's services into the Asian market.

Cheak brings 15 years of experience in financial services, including roles at Deutsche Bank and KPMG. He joined Miller after seven years at CPRI broker Texel, where he served as a Director.

This appointment is part of Miller’s ongoing expansion in Asia, following the recent addition of Kazuhiko Shinkai to its Japan team.
