Great Eastern backs MoH's pre-planning initiative with new legacy programme

This makes the insurer the first one to support the pre-planning campaign.

Great Eastern has launched the Great Legacy programme, which aims to assist Singaporeans with their Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) and Advance Medical Directive (AMD) applications.

To further support this initiative, the company is offering complimentary certification clinics, valued at $150 per person, on a first-come, first-served basis.

These clinics will be held every Tuesday and Thursday at Great Eastern's Pickering office, facilitated by 1,700 trained financial representatives.

The programme makes Great Eastern the first insurer in Singapore to support the pre-planning campaign initiated by the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Social and Family Development, Public Service Division, and the Agency for Integrated Care.

In addition to LPA and AMD services, Great Eastern plans to include Advance Care Planning (ACP) facilitation in the programme.
