Sunshine Capital dives into insurance broking

This move aims to capitalise on the anticipated growth in India's insurance sector.

Sunshine Capital’s board of directors has approved the expansion of the company's operations into the insurance broking business as part of its strategy to diversify its financial services offerings.

This move aims to capitalise on the anticipated growth in India's insurance sector, which is expected to be the fastest-growing among G20 nations, it said in a bourse filing.

By entering the insurance broking market, the company plans to provide personalised insurance solutions to better meet client needs.

Additionally, the company is evaluating the potential for listing on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) as part of its broader growth strategy.
