Aon appoints new leader for data and analytics

He will be based in Singapore.

Magnus Roe has been appointed as Aon’s new global chief data and analytics officer, to aid the company’s commercial solutions with analytical capabilities and assist clients to make better decisions.

Based in Singapore, Roe will lead the data and analytics team. Roe will report to Mindy Simon, chief operating officer at Aon, and collaborate with Andy Marcell, CEO of Risk Capital, and Lambros Lambrou, CEO of Human Capital.  

In his new role, Roe will integrate artificial intelligence, data governance, and analytics. 

He will collaborate closely with the Risk Capital and Human Capital analytics teams to ensure data-driven insights deliver value to clients. Additionally, Roe will coordinate with Aon’s data privacy and compliance teams to address complex regulatory challenges.  

Roe’s previous roles at Aon include head of strategy for risk analytics and global COO for reinsurance analytics.
