Tune Protect sees Q3 profit surge 50.3% YoY, YTD loss

YTD insurance revenue contracted 12.3% YoY.

Tune Protect Group Berhad saw its third quarter to September (Q3 2024) net profit surge 50.3% year-on-year (YoY) to RM7.2m.

However, on a year-to-date (YTD) basis, it registered a net loss of RM6.8m versus the RM19.1m profit the previous year.

The quarter also saw a dip in its insurance revenue, down 6.3% YoY to RM100.2m. Similarly, its YTD insurance revenue contracted 12.3% YoY to RM290.2m.

Q3 2024’s earnings per share (EPS) stood at RM0.78, higher than the RM0.50 the previous year. YTD, EPS was RM-0.99.
