Gallagher Re names new chief claims officer

He has more than 20 years of experience.

Gallagher Re has named Ben Wathen as its Chief Claims Officer.

Wathen bears over two decades of expertise in underwriting, claims, and broking.

Wathen joined Gallagher Re in April last year as head of Complex Claims. Prior to this, he was with Canopius and carried the roles

Claims manager and senior Claims Adjuster.

Other notable industry-related employers were Marsh, Amlin and MS Amlin.
