Markel reels in new head of Singapore

Lin joined Markel in 2018.

Markel appointed Wanshi Lin as the new head of Singapore, beginning immediately.

This newly established role will have Lin oversee the company’s underwriting team in Singapore and lead business planning and market engagement.

She will report to Christian Stobbs, managing director for Asia Pacific.  

Lin joined Markel in 2018 as an assistant underwriter for Marine and was promoted to senior underwriter in 2023. 

Before joining Markel, she served as assistant Vice President at Marsh Singapore.
