The Insurance Asia Awards, Asia Pacific's premier awards programme for the insurance sector, has returned for its 10th year to recognise these companies.

Celebrating its decade of excellence, the awards programme showcases top leaders and innovators who set new standards, achieved exceptional milestones, and reshaped the industry's future. It honours outstanding achievements in the insurance sector, recognising those who have demonstrated leadership, innovation, and expertise. With categories spanning various aspects of the industry, the event provides a platform to showcase companies’ remarkable claims initiatives, new products, customer service, digital transformation projects, and marketing initiatives, amongst others.

In recognition of his exceptional leadership, Franz-Josef Hahn, CEO of Peak Reinsurance Company Limited (Peak Re), was named the CEO of the Year at last year’s awards programme. Further reflecting its outstanding performance, Peak Re was honoured with the Asian Reinsurer of the Year - Gold accolade.

“This award goes to the leader, but a leader without a team is nothing. A leader without the trust of his clients is nothing," Hahn said. "I want to thank my team for the continuous pressure they put on in order to get better and better, to relentlessly work, stay focussed, and stay entrepreneurial. I want to also thank all of our clients who have always been extending trust and their belief to us.”
