AXA Philippines launches new health plan for critical illnesses

The plan offers coverage for over 150 medical conditions.

AXA Philippines has launched AXA Health Max Elite, a critical illness insurance plan with a maximum coverage of $172.3k (PHP10m).

The new plan offers coverage for over 150 medical conditions, including mental health disorders.

It also features a multi-claim benefit allowing policyholders to claim up to 400% of the sum insured based on illness severity and allows up to nine claims.

For major conditions, policyholders can receive 100% of the sum insured, whilst minor conditions are covered at 20%. An additional 10% is provided for life-saving surgeries or prolonged ICU stays.

Moreover, it offers ‘pre-early stage protection’, providing 10% of the sum insured for early-stage diagnoses, including benign tumours and suspected malignancies.
