PRU Life UK debuts flexible, hybrid-friendly BGC head office in Manila

The new workspace aims to boost productivity and prioritise well-being.

Pru Life UK has officially opened PRUHouse, its third office delivered by The Instant Group, in BGC Uptown, Manila.

"PRUHouse was created to be an adaptable and agile workspace for Pru Life UK employees. It is a hybrid work model," said Rashelle Cejo, Chief Human Resources Officer at Pru Life UK. "We want to support the hybrid work model of our employees, and that's the reason why we initiated this."

The new office accommodates over 800 employees and features three key collaboration areas: the Hive, a multifunctional space with a 4.5m x 1.9m video screen wall for town halls and events; the Sanctuary, offering both formal and informal work settings; and the Huddle for training and development.

According to Cejo, the investment in PRUHouse reflects the company’s commitment to workplace flexibility and sustainability. "It is a sustainable, green workplace, trendy, modern, and safe for our employees. We wanted to support the different employee categories in terms of the hybrid opportunity for them to work," she said.

"This is an investment that the organisation wanted to push through so that we continue to support the different generational workforce that we have. We know that the future of workspace is all about flexibility," she added.

Cejo mentioned the company’s initiatives to support cross-functional training and development programs with monthly and quarterly events that address stress management.
