InsuranceDekho boosts agent network by 92% in 2024

It also aims to expand its footprint to six lakh villages.

InsuranceDekho expanded its agent partner network by 92% year-on-year, adding over 95,000 new agents in the past year.

As of December, the company’s network stands at 2.2 lakh agents, covering 99% of India’s pin codes.

The company’s reach has significantly increased in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, where 86% of its agents are now based.

Its expansion is particularly notable in smaller towns such as Sikdar in Rajasthan, Krishnanagar in West Bengal, Zunheboto in Nagaland, and Muzaffarnagar in Uttar Pradesh.

It has also extended services to remote regions, including Lahaul-Spiti in Himachal Pradesh and Serchhip in Mizoram.

Pankaj Goenka, Vice President and Head of B2B2C at InsuranceDekho, said the company’s growing agent network reflects its commitment to making insurance accessible across India.

“By reaching 99% of India’s pin codes, we are addressing critical gaps in accessibility and bringing financial protection closer to underserved communities,” Goenka said in a press release.

Looking ahead, the company aims to expand its footprint to six lakh villages.
