Miller forms new M&A, strategic solutions team

They will operate within Miller’s Professional & Financial Risks business.

Miller appointed three senior hires to lead its newly formed M&A and Strategic Solutions (MASS) team.  

Andrew Johnson and Edwina Charlton will head the team globally, with Rupert Newman joining as head of Broking. 

The team will focus on transactional risk insurance whilst also developing specialist tax and contingent risk practices. Johnson will also support Miller’s broader growth initiatives.  

Johnson and Charlton have a combined 20 years of experience as M&A lawyers in London and Asia before transitioning to insurance with Marsh. 

The MASS team will operate within Miller’s Professional & Financial Risks business, advising private equity firms, hedge and sovereign wealth funds, corporates, law firms, and corporate financiers on domestic and cross-border risks. The team will be based in London.
