GAIP appoints Rohit Boda as India head, non-executive director

This is in line with GAIP's expansion goals in India.

The Global Association of Insurtech Professionals (GAIP) has appointed Rohit Boda, Group Managing Director of the J.B. Boda Group and the founder of RB Ventures as a non-executive director and head of India chapter.

He leads the J.B. Boda Group, based in Mumbai, and RB Ventures, headquartered in Dubai.

GAIP, launched at the InsureTek Middle East Conference 2024 and based at the Dubai International Financial Centre, aims to connect tech providers, investors, and regulators worldwide.

GAIP's expansion into India comes as the Middle East insurtech market is projected to grow from $231.32m in 2022 to $1.652b by 2029.

The India Chapter, under Boda’s leadership, is expected to support the adoption of international practices and cross-border cooperation.
