Bharti AXA introduces insurance plan for middle-income India

It provides life insurance protection worth up to 30 times the annual premium.

Bharti AXA Life Insurance has introduced a new savings-oriented insurance product, the Bharti AXA Life Guaranteed Bachat Plan.

The product targets India’s middle-income segment, offering life insurance coverage and guaranteed returns.

The Bharti AXA Life Guaranteed Bachat Plan provides life insurance protection worth up to 30 times the annual premium, with the option to increase it to 50 times through add-on riders.

The plan is non-linked and non-participating, offering policyholders fixed, guaranteed benefits.

According to the insurer, the product is designed for working professionals, salaried individuals, and small business owners who want a combined savings and protection product.

It allows customers to choose between a lump-sum payout or regular income, depending on their preferences.

Policyholders can also enhance their coverage through optional riders such as accidental death, critical illness, hospital cash, and waiver of premium.

The plan also comes with tax benefits in line with the prevailing provisions of the Income Tax Act, 1961.
