AIA Singapore appoints Owen Addison as CHRO

Addison succeeds Aileen Tan, who will retire on 30 September.

AIA Singapore has appointed Owen Addison as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), effective 1 October. 

He will report directly to CEO Wong Sze Keed. Addison succeeds Aileen Tan, who will retire on 30 September after more than seven years with the company.

Tan, who has played a key role in shaping AIA Singapore’s culture and mentoring talent, will continue her involvement in the group as she takes on a strategic advisory role at Amplify Health, leading its People and Culture team from October.

Addison joined AIA in 2017 and has held several leadership roles within AIA Group Human Resources in Hong Kong. 

Most recently, he served as Director of Human Resources, partnering with Group Technology and Operations, AIA New Zealand, and AIA Sri Lanka, whilst also leading the Group CHRO Office. 

He previously worked in financial services and consulting, including a tenure with PwC.
