Dai-ichi Life Holdings sets up new firm to manage its investments and loans

It covers fixed income investment, alternative investment, and structured finance.

Dai-ichi Life Holdings, Inc. is establishing a new organization to consolidate all the investment execution functions related to the investments and loans of its subsidiaries.

This involves consolidating the investment executive functions related to investments and loans of Dai-ichi Life Insurance Company, Limited (Dai-Ichi Life) and Dai-ichi Frontier Life Insurance Co., Ltd. (Dai-ichi Frontier Life).

“Specifically, we will establish a new organization within the company that consolidates the investment execution functions in the areas of fixed income investment, alternative investment, and structured finance, as well as a related function to these investments and loans from both companies,” Dai-ichi Life Holdings said in a statement published on 11 September 2025.

The restructuring is effective on 1 October 2025.
