Premium revenues from foreign-currency life insurance in Taiwan rise 35% in June

Traditional products made up the bulk of sales at $5.7b.

Premium revenues from new foreign-currency denominated life insurance policies in Taiwan reached $6.6b (NT$200.6b) at the end of June 2025, up 35% from $4.9b (NT$148.3b) a year earlier, according to the Insurance Bureau.

Traditional products made up the bulk of sales at $5.7b (NT$173.1b), an increase of 36% year-on-year and accounting for 86% of the total.

Investment-linked products contributed $0.9b (NT$27.5b), up 30% from $0.7b (NT$21.2b) a year earlier.
