Aon strengthens Asia reinsurance leadership with new chairman

Chisholm will oversee the Global Clients Segment for the Asia region.

Aon plc has appointed Simon Chisholm as chairman of Asia for its Reinsurance Solutions division, effective 1 January 2026.

Chisholm will oversee the Global Clients Segment for the Asia region, focusing on strengthening relationships with key clients in Japan and Thailand. 

Based in Singapore, he will report to Soeren Soltysiak, CEO of Reinsurance Solutions in Asia.

Chisholm has nearly 40 years of experience in the reinsurance industry, including leadership roles working with Aon’s largest global clients across Asia, Europe, and the United States. 

His new role will involve aligning client needs with strategic solutions across the region.
