Sun Life appoints Anshuman Das as Chief Bancassurance Officer

Das has 15 years of experience in insurance and consumer banking. 

Sun Life has appointed Anshuman Das as Chief Bancassurance Officer for Asia, effective 3 November. 

He will lead the company’s bancassurance strategy across the region and report to David Broom, Chief Client and Distribution Officer for Asia.

Das has 15 years of experience in insurance and consumer banking. 

He joins Sun Life from DBS, where he was Executive Director in the regional bancassurance team, managing strategic partnerships across life and general insurance, as well as financial planning and analytics. 

He has also held roles at HSBC Life, Citibank, and Standard Chartered Bank.

Das holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore and an MBA from HKU Business School in Hong Kong. 

He will be based in Singapore.
