Income Insurance partners Beecroft to launch cashless pet surgeries

Co-insurance and deductibles will still apply based on each customer’s policy terms.

Income Insurance Limited has partnered with Beecroft Animal Specialist & Emergency Hospital to unveil a cashless value-added service for pet surgeries.

The partnership covers pre-approved and scheduled pet surgeries, up to the coverage limit.

“It will be applicable to all Income Happy Tails pet insurance policyholders from today, 4 November,” the press release stated.

Both companies said this the first time an insurer and veterinary hospital in Singapore have implemented a direct claims and cashless payment system for animal healthcare.

The service covers procedures that require general anaesthesia. A Letter of Guarantee will be issued so that no cash deposit is required before treatment.

Co-insurance and deductibles will still apply based on each customer’s policy terms.

Beecroft co-founder Dr Rina Maguire said the initiative helps families make medical decisions “based on their pet’s needs, not their immediate financial capacity,”
