Domestic worker insurance market sees steady 7.5% growth outlook

The sector is projected to reach $5.05b by 2029.

The domestic worker insurance market is set to rise from $3.51b in 2024 to $3.79b in 2025, representing a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 7.8%, according to the Business Research Company.

The market’s growth in recent years has been driven by stronger demand for affordable domestic help, expansion of the informal employment sector, increased awareness of worker exploitation, advocacy for labour rights, and a rise in formal domestic service contracts.

Looking ahead, the sector is projected to reach $5.05b by 2029, growing at a CAGR of 7.5%.

The increase will be supported by higher demand for in-home care, the growing population of migrant domestic workers, more legal requirements for employer insurance coverage, and rising awareness of worker rights.
