Manulife’s Asia segment records 22% YoY jump in FY 2025 net income

Asia’s new business value (NBV) was also up 10%.

Manulife’s full-year 2025 group net income increased by 2% year-on-year (YoY) to $5.6b, whilst its Asia segment surged 22% YoY to $2.1b.

The group’s earnings per share climbed 6% YoY to $3.07. The region’s core earnings also jumped 18% YoY to $2.1b. Likewise, APE sales also surged 18% YoY to $5.3b.

Asia’s new business value (NBV) was up 10% YoY and new business contractual service margin (CSM) up 19% YoY, driven by more favourable business mix, partially offset by lower sales volumes.
