Liberty appoints Cynthia Sze as Hong Kong CEO

She will oversee a unified business combining personal, commercial and specialty lines.

Liberty, part of Liberty Mutual Insurance Group, appointed Cynthia Sze as CEO, Hong Kong, effective May this year.

She will lead the company’s unified Hong Kong business following the integration of its operations under a single licence, proposed to be effective on 1 April 2026.

The unification brings together Liberty’s personal, commercial and specialty insurance capabilities in the market.

Sze has more than two decades of experience in Hong Kong and North Asia’s insurance sector.

Sze is based in Hong Kong and will report to Matthew Jackson, President of Liberty International Insurance, Asia-Pacific.
