Igloo appoints Ramjit Lahiri as Philippine head

He was most recently CEO of Carmudi Philippines. 

Southeast Asian insurance technology company, Igloo, appointed Ramjit Lahiri as its new Philippine country head.

The company also outlined its 2026 Philippines strategy, adding that the country has become the insurtech’s fastest-growing markets.

Lahiri joins Igloo with over a decade of experience building digital platform businesses and financial services marketplaces in the Philippines and across emerging markets. 

He was most recently CEO of Carmudi Philippines. 

Prior to Carmudi, he led operations at Lamudi Philippines and was country head of Operations and Business Development at OYO Philippines. 

He has also held senior commercial roles at Treebo Hotels in India and began his career as a software engineer.
