She urged actuaries to tackle generational inequality.
The Actuaries Institute has appointed Win-Li Toh as its President for 2025.
Toh, a Principal at Taylor Fry with over 25 years of experience, urged actuaries across Australia to apply their analytical skills to issues such as generational inequality and cyber risks.
Actuaries, she said, can help solve complex problems in areas like artificial intelligence, health, climate change, and government services by integrating data and perspectives from various fields.
She also highlighted the importance of objectivity and collaboration with experts from diverse disciplines, including cybersecurity and climate science.
