AIA Singapore, Whitecoat expand partnership to address healthcare affordability
Medical costs in Singapore are set to rise nearly 10.7% in 2024.
AIA Singapore is expanding its partnership with Whitecoat to offer telemedicine services to all AIA policyholders in Singapore starting 4 November.
Previously limited to customers with AIA HealthShield Gold Max and select critical illness plans, this move aims to make healthcare more accessible and affordable for a broader group of insured Singaporeans and residents.
The initiative comes as medical costs in Singapore are set to rise nearly 10.7% in 2024, adding to widespread concern about healthcare affordability.
In response, AIA’s partnership with Whitecoat allows insured members to access on-demand telemedicine services from their homes, helping address financial and convenience barriers to quality medical care.
AIA Singapore recently emphasised its focus on customer needs by offering 15,000 Singapore residents six months of free critical illness and life insurance, addressing the protection gap in the market.
