Allianz Asia Pacific's business volume jumps 16%

The annualised premium (ANP) for Life/Health grew 14%.

Allianz Asia Pacific saw its first nine months of 2024 record a 16% year-on-year (YoY) surge in total business volume (TBV), amounting to $6.83b (EUR6.5b).

This was attributable to the strong performance in both Life/Health and Property-Casualty segments.

Operating profit rose 3% to $613m (EUR584m), whilst Life/Health New Business Value (NBV) increased 35% to $546m (EUR520m), supported by robust sales across its markets.

The annualised premium (ANP) for Life/Health grew 14% to $937m (EUR892m).

The Property-Casualty segment reported a 12% increase in TBV to $1.58b (EUR1.5b), contributing to a 9% rise in operating profit, which reached $135m (EUR129m).
