Allianz General registers over 4,000 policyholders for roadside assistance
Policyholders receive roadside assistance services up to three times a year, including towing of their goods-carrying vehicles.
Allianz General Insurance Company Berhad has introduced the Allianz Truck Warrior, an add-on coverage providing roadside assistance.
This policy is catered to Allianz Goods Carrying Vehicle (comprehensive) policyholders experiencing breakdowns.
Since its launch in February, over 4,000 customers have added the Allianz Truck Warrior to their policies.
With the Allianz Truck Warrior, policyholders receive roadside assistance services up to three times a year, including towing of their goods carrying vehicles up to 100km roundtrip by dedicated tow trucks and on-site repair service for breakdowns.
Additionally, customers are covered with a flood relief allowance of up to RM5,000 per flood event if the vehicle sustains flood damage.

This coverage can be obtained with a purchase of their motor insurance policy and an additional RM120 for the Allianz Truck Warrior.
Considering the average cost of towing a lorry is around RM800, the Allianz Truck Warrior offers a cost-effective and stress-free benefit.
To be eligible, the goods-carrying vehicle must have an A and C permit with comprehensive cover, weigh up to 7.5 tons gross vehicle weight, and be 20 years old or less.
