Allianz Malaysia offers cashless hospital cover in travel plan

Coverage extends to senior citizens up to age 85.

Allianz Malaysia Berhad (Allianz Malaysia) launches Allianz Travel XPert, a travel insurance plan offering expanded coverage and benefits for both domestic and international travellers.

The plan includes cashless admission and discharge for overseas hospitalisation bills exceeding $4,727 (RM20,000), coverage for alternative medicine up to $355 (RM1,500), and compensation of up to $1,064 (RM4,500) for every five-hour luggage or travel delay.

Pet owners can also claim up to $236 (RM1,000) for pet hotel costs.

Leisure sports activities are covered at no additional charge, whilst personal accident benefits provide financial protection in cases of accidental death or permanent disablement.

Coverage extends to senior citizens up to age 85.

Policyholders travelling in groups of five or more receive a 5% discount on premiums, whilst premiums for children are discounted by 20%.

An annual plan is available for frequent travellers.
