Allianz Partners appoints Michael Buttstedt as new CFO, board member

He was previously CFO of Allianz Italy for four years.

Allianz Partners has named Michael Buttstedt as its new CFO and board member.

Buttstedt will succeed Damien Ladous, who has been appointed head of group performance steering. He will report directly to Allianz Partners' CEO, Tomas Kunzmann.

Bringing over 25 years of experience within Allianz, Buttstedt previously served as CFO of Allianz Italy for four years. His career at the company also includes roles such as chief risk officer at Allianz Switzerland and group risk officer at Allianz SE.

He holds a mathematics degree from the Technical University of Munich and is a member of the Association of Actuaries in Germany.
