Allianz Trade appoints Hassan Omaish as CEO for Hong Kong, Korea, Taiwan

He will take over from Edmond Lee, who is retiring after 12 years.

Allianz Trade has appointed Hassan Omaish as chief executive officer for Hong Kong, South Korea and Taiwan, effective 1 October. 

He will take over from Edmond Lee, who is retiring after 12 years with the company. Omaish will be based in Hong Kong.

Omaish has been with Allianz Trade for 15 years, holding leadership roles across Europe, Asia and the Middle East. 

He is currently the global head of broker management and partnerships, overseeing global broker strategies and alliances with other Allianz entities.

He has previously served as commercial director for ASEAN countries and the Hong Kong hub, and as country manager of Malaysia. 

Earlier in his career, he also held senior positions across the Gulf Cooperation Council region.Omaish holds a master’s degree in in

ternational business with a focus on finance from the University of Wollongong.
