AmMetLife Insurance unveils new CEO

He previously served as chairman of the Malaysian Takaful Association.

AmMetLife Insurance Berhad has appointed Wan Saifulrizal Wan Ismail as its new CEO, replacing Rangam Bir, who has left the company to pursue other opportunities. 

The appointment was announced on 9 March in Kuala Lumpur. Wan brings nearly 30 years of experience in the insurance and takaful sectors. 

His career includes roles as an industry regulator, actuary, and senior leader across insurance and takaful organisations. 

He previously served as chairman of the Malaysian Takaful Association. 

The insurer offers life assurance and wealth protection products through more than 200 AmBank and AmMetLife branches, as well as a nationwide network of authorised life insurance agents.
