Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. acquires Philinsure

Gordon Joseph and his team will continue to lead operations.

Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. acquired the remaining shares of Philippine-based Philpacific Insurance Brokers & Managers, Inc. (Philinsure) following a minority investment in the business. 

Philinsure, headquartered in Cebu City, operates as a commercial insurance and reinsurance broker with offices in greater Manila and Davao City. 

Gordon Joseph and his team will continue to lead operations under Sarah Lyons, who oversees Gallagher’s retail property and casualty brokerage business in Australia and Asia.  
J. Patrick Gallagher, Jr., chairman and CEO, said the acquisition strengthens the company’s retail brokerage presence in Asia.
