Arthur J. Gallagher & Co.’s Q1’24 earnings surge 26% YoY

It closed a total of 12 acquisitions during the period.

Insurance brokerage and risk management services firm, Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., saw its first quarter (Q1’24) net earnings climb 26.0% year-on-year (YoY) to $612.7b.

In Q1’24, its total revenue surged 20.4% YoY to $3.2b. Earnings per share stood at $2.74 during the period, showing an increase of $2.24 from the previous year.

Its brokerage segment revenue increased 20.6% to $2.9b whilst its risk management segment’s revenue nearly jumps a fifth from last year to $352.8m.

Acquisition activity noted the closure of 12 acquisitions in Q1’24, with estimated annualised revenues of $69.2m.
