AXA Hong Kong and Macau unveils cross-border health management

The network includes over 500 doctors and 30 specialist services.

AXA Hong Kong and Macau has introduced “AXA Health Concierge,” a cross-border health management service offering eligible customers access to over 2,000 healthcare providers across Hong Kong and Mainland China.

At the centre of the service is the Green Medical Pass, which provides priority access to hospitals and clinics, helping reduce wait times.

The network includes over 500 doctors and 30 specialist services.

The launch follows rising pressure on Hong Kong’s public healthcare system, where specialist wait times now exceed two years.

In contrast, Mainland China has seen rapid improvements in healthcare quality and infrastructure.

In 2023, Shenzhen alone handled more than 700,000 medical consultations for Hong Kong residents.

AXA’s service includes medical advice, appointment booking, second opinions, and post-treatment support.

It covers both Western and traditional Chinese medicine, and extends across the Greater Bay Area.

Policyholders and their immediate families can also receive discounts of up to 30% on outpatient services—a market first—by registering through the Emma by AXA app.
